Refund Policy

Please read this before purchasing. Because our presets are digital files delivered instantly, all sales are final and non-refundable.

Stoolio sells digital Lightroom preset files delivered electronically the moment your payment clears. Because these files are immediately accessible and cannot be returned, all purchases are final and non-refundable. This applies to every product in our store without exception.

What We Sell — Digital Only

Stoolio is a digital-only store. We sell professional Lightroom preset files — no physical product is ever shipped. Every purchase is a one-time payment for lifetime access to your preset files, delivered as .XMP, .DNG, and .ZIP files instantly after payment.

  • Digital file: Delivered electronically, not physically. Cannot be "returned" once downloaded or accessed.
  • One-time purchase: Pay once, access forever through your account. No subscriptions or recurring charges.
  • Instant delivery: Files available immediately after Stripe confirms your payment.

Our No-Refund Policy

Stoolio operates a strict no-refund policy on all digital product purchases.

Once your payment is confirmed by Stripe:

  • Your download link is generated and sent to your email immediately
  • Your files become accessible in your account under My Downloads
  • The transaction is considered complete and fulfilled
  • No refund, exchange, or store credit will be issued

This policy is consistent with consumer protection law in most jurisdictions, which recognises that digital content provided with the buyer's consent to immediate delivery may forfeit standard cooling-off period rights.

Situations Not Eligible for a Refund

The following are explicit examples where no refund will be issued:

  • Change of mind — You bought a preset and decided you no longer want it.
  • Incompatibility due to user error — You did not check the compatibility information listed on the product page before purchasing.
  • Visual expectations — The preset does not look identical to preview images on your photos. Results naturally vary across different cameras, lighting, and subjects.
  • Unable to install — Difficulty installing presets is a support issue, not a refund issue. We will help you install them.
  • Creative mismatch — The presets do not suit your personal editing style after downloading.
  • Accidental purchase — You accidentally bought the wrong product or duplicate. Please review your cart carefully before checkout.
  • Third-party software issues — Problems with Adobe Lightroom, your device, or internet connection are outside our control.
  • Delayed use — You purchased but did not use the presets for a long time and now request a refund.

Very Limited Exceptions We Will Review

We are fair people. While all sales are final, there are a small number of genuine technical situations we will review and resolve — not as automatic refunds, but situations we investigate honestly and resolve quickly.

  • Genuinely corrupted files: Files that are broken or unreadable and cannot be fixed by re-downloading. We will send replacement files immediately.
  • Wrong files delivered: You received completely different files from what you ordered — a clear error on our part. We will fix immediately.
  • System duplicate charge: Our payment system charged you more than once for the same order through a technical fault. We refund the extra charge promptly.
  • Complete non-delivery: Payment confirmed but files unavailable in your email and your account even after checking spam and logging in. We re-deliver or resolve within 24 hours.

We want you to love what you download. Here is what we recommend before completing checkout:

A technical issue is grounds for dedicated support — not an automatic refund. We take support seriously and will get you sorted.

Chargebacks & Disputes

We strongly ask that you contact us at [email protected] before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute. In most cases we resolve issues far faster than a bank dispute process.

⚠️If a chargeback is filed without contacting us first, we will respond with full documentation — delivery proof, download records, your checkout agreement to this policy, and transaction records. Fraudulent chargebacks for legitimately delivered digital products may result in permanent account suspension and referral for fraud review.
